The Canton of Vest Yorvik is a branch of of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc (SCA), a non-profit educational organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our members also study the Orient, the Middle East and North Africa, and the interaction between these regions during this period.
What is the SCA?
The SCA consists of over 70,000 participants in 19 SCA "kingdoms" around the world. Dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, we attend events including tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and more.

The Canton of Vest Yorvik is part of the Kingdom of Ealdormere (Ontario, Canada) branch of the SCA and covers the regions of Peel (Caledon, Brampton and Mississauga) and East Halton (Milton and Oakville).
